Description
19 Cameron Street is a small tenement building from the late 19th century, featuring two storeys and an attic, with two bays above ground. It is located within an irregular terrace that includes some of the early structures from Stonehaven's late 18th century new town. The building is constructed of red sandstone ashlar, with projecting cills and some stugged margins.
The principal elevation faces north and includes two modern timber doors, each with a plate glass fanlight, located in the right bay at ground level. There is a window to the left, and the upper floors feature regular fenestration, with the attic windows breaking the eaves and adorned with elaborately scrolled pediments. The windows are timber sash and case, with 4-pane and plate glass glazing patterns. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes a small cast-iron rooflight. The gablehead stacks are coped with ashlar, featuring cans, and the ashlar-coped skews have flat skewputts.
