7 Arbuthnott Street, Stonehaven

7 Arbuthnott Street in Stonehaven is a pair of late 18th century houses, two stories high, with three bays on one side and two bays on the other, forming a regular terrace on the southeast. The buildings are constructed from roughly squared, snecked rubble, with similar roughly squared dressings.

On the southwest elevation, No. 7 is positioned to the right of the center, featuring a central door at the ground floor, with windows in the flanking bays and regular window arrangement on the first floor. No. 9 has its bays grouped toward the center, with a door to the right and a window to the left at the ground floor, along with regular fenestration at the first floor. All first-floor windows are situated close to the eaves.

The windows are replacement timber sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roofs are covered with modern pantiles. The chimneys are made of ashlar and feature cans and thackstanes, while the skews are also ashlar-coped with moulded skewputts.
