Description
This mid 19th century terraced house at 33 Castle Street in Duns is likely built using some older materials. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring three bays. The exterior is finished with drydashed rubble sandstone and has ashlar cills. A panelled door is located at the center, with a bipartite window to the right on the ground floor. The roof has a pair of gabled dormers that show exposed purlins, while the rear elevation is irregular.
The house includes 4-pane and 12-pane timber sash and case windows. It is topped with early red brick chimney stacks and covered with grey slates, with ashlar coped skews.
