Description

The Horn Inn is an early 19th-century, two-storey and attic, three-bay house located on a corner site in Duns. The building is harled with painted ashlar dressings and features rusticated long and short quoins.

On the southeast elevation, the house has a regular arrangement of windows and a modern lean-to porch at the center, which includes a door and a window. There are also two canted piend-roofed dormers above, and a blank shield tablet is situated to the right.

The northeast (rear) elevation has a later lean-to addition at ground level, featuring a central door and various windows, while the upper section remains blank.

The east elevation presents a blank gable end with a small window from the later rear range. The windows throughout are four-pane timber sash and case. The building is topped with ashlar-coped skew on the east side, covered with grey slates, and has brick chimney stacks.
