Description
Craigmount is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located on Fountainblue Terrace in Wigtown. The exterior features white painted render with black ashlar dressings, quoin strips, and an eaves course. The central door has a letterbox fanlight and is flanked by windows on the ground floor, with a window in each bay on the first floor. To the right and rear, there is a single-storey flat-roofed addition. The front has sash and case windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The house is topped with graduated grey slates and has ashlar coped skews along with rendered stacks that include a full complement of cans. There are modern dormers lined with cedar that are regrattable, and a satellite dish is also present. Three windows on the west side are partly blocked.
The property is enclosed by a low coped rubble boundary wall with ashlar coping.
