Eastfield House, Eastfield Road, Dumfries

Eastfield House is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located on Eastfield Road in Dumfries. The building is constructed of painted squared rubble with contrasting ashlar margins. The original house features a central door on the west side that has been converted into a window, with the main entrance now located on the northern flank. The first-floor windows have projecting cills and may have been enlarged. The house has sash windows with 12-pane glazing, corniced end stacks, and a piended roof.

At the rear, there is a central square bay that is likely from the mid-19th century, made of brick with ashlar dressings. This bay features an unusual panelled pattern at the eaves, created with brick, and the angles are chamfered beneath. There is also a modern addition in the southern re-entrant angle of the building.
