Description

This is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located at 1 Novar Road in Alness. It features a central door and is constructed of coursed rubble with painted ashlar margins. The east gable is harled and includes windows on the ground floor, first floor, and a small attic. There is a later single-storey and attic addition on the west gable, which has a gabled dormer that rises through the wallhead. The house has four-pane glazing, corniced end stacks, and a slate roof.
