Description
22 West Brae is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house located in an irregular terrace to the southwest. The exterior features dry-dash with ashlar long and short work quoins and stone margins.
The southeast elevation, which is the principal facade, is symmetrical. It has a modern door in the center, flanked by windows, and regular fenestration on the first floor.
On the northeast elevation, there is a polygonal, helm-roofed bay that includes a door on the ground floor and a window on the first floor, with an additional window on the return to the left side.
The windows are timber sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, and there is a coped ashlar stack with cans, along with ashlar-coped skews.
