Description
- 2-storey and attic, 3-bay, L-plan gabled former manse, converted to 2 flats. Harled with stone margins and quoin strips. Base and eaves courses. Corniced doorpiece and 1st floor Venetian windows. Stone mullions and stop-chamfered arrises.
S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: wide part-glazed panelled timber door to centre bay at ground, window to right and canted window to left with cornice and blocking course. Window to centre at 1st floor, and Venetian windows in flanking bays, small piended and canted dormer windows over outer bays.
N ELEVATION: centre bay with stone forestair to door between floors, and window over close to eaves; bay to outer right with window to each floor and chamfered angle to outer right; advanced piended bay to left with window to each floor on return to right.
W ELEVATION: gabled elevation with small attic window to left in gablehead.
Small-pane and plate glass glazing patterns in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; pantiles to rear wing. Coped harled stacks with full-complement of cans; ashlar-coped skews.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
BOUNDARY WALLS AND GATEPIER: rubble boundary walls and square-section, pyramidally-coped ashlar gatepier.
