Description

29 Castle Street in Duns is an early 19th-century, two-storey house with an attic, likely incorporating older materials. It is a three-bay end of terrace property built from rubble sandstone, with a harled front and concrete margins. The entrance features a modern panelled door at the center, topped by a diamond-pane letterbox fanlight. To the left, there is a large gabled dormer.

The south gable end has a door at ground level and a blind attic window. The rear elevation is irregular. The house includes 12-pane timber sash and case windows, brick chimney stacks, and is covered with grey slate roofing, featuring ashlar coped skews.
