Description
Maravale is a mid-19th century, two-storey house with an attic, featuring a wide three-bay design. The exterior is made of grey rubble with contrasting tooled ashlar dressings. The central entrance has a door with narrow sidelights, a fanlight, and a panelled door. On either side of the entrance are bipartite windows with narrow sidelights. The first-floor windows are adorned with low decorative cast-iron guards. The house also has three later 19th-century canted dormers and a mix of two- and four-pane glazing. Notable architectural details include rusticated quoins, an eaves band, and corniced end stacks, all topped with a slate roof. A coped rubble garden wall flanks the front garden.
