Littleraith, 5 Broomfield Crescent, Largs

Littleraith is an early 19th-century, symmetrically planned single-storey and attic villa, which was later extended in the 19th century. The extensions include a shorter gabled block to the east and a low piend-roofed L-plan extension to the north. The building is constructed of rubble with painted ashlar margins and pediments on the main west elevation. There are doors located in the north and south elevations, with the south door situated behind the L-plan conservatory.

The west elevation features three bays, with two windows on a bowed central bay and single-bay, low, recessed, pedimented flanking wings. The windows are 12-pane sashes, although the right bay has been altered. The elevation is topped with a cornice and blocking course that is raised at the angles. There are three later piended, canted dormers, with straight skews and end stacks. The wings contain 16-pane sashes. The roofs are covered with slate. Additionally, there is a low, rubble-built retaining wall with removed railings and hexagonal panelled and corniced gatepiers.
