15 Springhill, Dundee

15 Springhill is an early 19th century two-storey villa with a mid-19th century eastern extension. The building is constructed from rubble stone on an ashlar base, featuring margins and a first-floor sill course, with aproned windows at the ground level.

On the south elevation, there is a central three-light bow window, a single bay to the left, and a later tripartite bay to the right. The west elevation has three bays with a central entrance that is pedimented.

At the rear, the building steps outwards and upwards, featuring a service wing with a piended roof and later stair access to the first-floor flat. The roofs are covered with slate and include ridge and rear wallhead stacks. The windows were originally sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern, which is still retained at the ground floor of the west flat; however, other windows have been altered to a 2-pane design or replaced with uPVC.
