Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 6-bay double symmetrical villa on corner site (additional single bay extension to left). Polished ashlar; channelled at ground floor. Base course; dividing storey band course; eaves course; timber mutuled cornice. Aprons to architraved 1st floor windows.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steps to central entrances; columned (fluted), corniced and block-pedimented porches; timber doors; letterbox fanlights; single windows aligned above at 1st floor. Regular fenestration to remaining bays at both floors. Single windows at both floors to lower height section to outer left.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: 4-bay (additional single storey extension to right). Regular fenestration at both floors (2 bays to left blind). Advanced single storey piend-roofed section to outer right forms start of screen wall.

E AND N ELEVATIONS: not seen 1999.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; corniced wallhead and ridge stacks; circular and polygonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIORS: not seen 1999.

GATEPIERS AND BOUNDARY WALL: square-plan gatepiers to vehicular entrances; coped rubble boundary wall enclosing site.
