29 Glasgow Street, Helensburgh

29 Glasgow Street in Helensburgh is a later 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical villa. It is constructed from stugged, snecked grey sandstone with red sandstone ashlar dressings. The building features a base course, stop-chamfered angles, ashlar mullioned windows, and overhanging eaves supported by brackets.

On the south elevation, the entrance is centrally located and consists of two-leaf panelled doors with a plate glass fanlight above. There is a half-pitched canopy supported by timber posts, which are set on low projecting walls that flank the steps leading to the entrance. To either side of the doorway are corniced bipartite windows. At the first floor, there is a central window with raised margins and a bracketed cill, flanked by bipartite windows that feature pilaster-mullions, reveals, and round-arched lights.

The east elevation has a bipartite window at both the ground and first floors, designed similarly to those on the south elevation. The west elevation contains two windows at both the ground and first floors on the outer left side. There is a single-storey modern extension that abuts the north angle. The villa has plate glass sash and case windows and a grey slate roof, with corniced sandstone end stacks that have moulded cans on the east side.
