26 Suffolk Street, Helensburgh

26 Suffolk Street in Helensburgh is a villa from the later 19th century, featuring a single storey and attic with three bays. The building is constructed from stugged, squared, coursed cream sandstone, complemented by ashlar dressings. It has ashlar mullioned windows with chamfered arrises, and decorative bargeboards and finials on the gables of the south elevation.

The south entrance elevation includes a corniced doorway at the center, featuring a plate glass fanlight above a panelled door, with strapwork decoration above the cornice. To the right, there is a slightly advanced corniced tripartite window. Above the breaking eaves, a gabled dormer window can be seen. On the left, there is a broad, slightly advanced gabled bay with a canted window at the ground level, which has bracketted decorative brattishing above a bracketted cornice, along with an attic window above it.

The villa features plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, sandstone stacks with moulded cans, and original rainwater goods.
