7 Lower Sutherland Crescent, Helensburgh

7 Lower Sutherland Crescent is a villa built in the later 19th century, featuring a single storey and an attic with three bays. The exterior is constructed from squared, snecked, and stugged cream sandstone, with ashlar dressings. Notable architectural details include a base course, chamfered arrises, ashlar mullioned windows, bracketed eaves, finials, and decorative bargeboards on the south gables.

The south elevation, which serves as the entrance, has a steeply pitched gabled bay at the center. It features two-leaf panelled doors topped with a plate glass fanlight, a consoled cornice, and a half-glazed vestibule door. Above the gablehead is a round-arched window. To the right, there is a bipartite window, while to the left, there is a canted window. The right and left sides have pilastered two-light gabled dormers that are slate-hung.

The villa also includes four-pane and plate glass sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and has corniced sandstone stacks with moulded cans.
