Clunie Hill, 22 Upper Glenfinlas Street, Helensburgh

Clunie Hill is a villa built in the later 19th century, featuring two storeys and three symmetrical bays. The exterior is made of cream sandstone rubble, which is squared and coursed on the south entrance elevation, with ashlar dressings. Notable architectural details include a base course, stop-chamfered arrises, and ashlar mullioned windows, along with overhanging bracketed eaves.

On the south entrance elevation, there is a corniced doorway at the center, which has a fanlit panelled door. Above this is a window on the first floor. To the left, there is a tripartite window at both the ground and first floor levels. On the right side, a full-height canted window breaks the eaves, featuring three semi-circular-headed lights at both the ground and first floors, with a cornice between them. This window is topped with a shallow conical roof adorned with decorative brattishing. The villa also has plate glass sash and case windows and is topped with a grey slate roof, which has corniced sandstone end stacks with moulded cans.

The property is enclosed by a boundary wall made of cream sandstone rubble, which has a semi-circular coping. Square-plan gate piers with corniced caps mark the entrance.
