Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay villa, with recessed single storey wings. Ashlar; rusticated at ground floor. Vermiculated base course; central dividing band course; 1st floor cill course; eaves course; cornice; blocking course. Shouldered, flat arches to ground floor windows; aprons to 1st floor windows (below cill course).

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steps with terminating low piers with ball finials lead to entrance; 2-leaf timber door; flanking side lights; single window aligned above at 1st floor. Flanking single windows at ground and 1st floor. Recessed single storey block-pedimented wings; single window to left; 2-leaf timber doors to right.

SW ELEVATION: ground floor obscured by wing; window off-centre to left of 1st floor.

SE AND NE ELEVATIONS: not seen 1999.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; wallhead corniced stacks; polygonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 1999.

GATEPIERS AND BOUNDARY WALL: gatepiers to pedestrian entrance to left; single gatepier to vehicular entrance to right; low coped boundary wall.
