Description
Cross Glebe is a manse completed in 1829, designed as a two-storey version of the two Parliamentary manse stock designs approved by Thomas Telford. The front features three bays and a low piended porch that is recessed on either gable, with a door to the left that is not original. The exterior is harled, with stone margins on the front, and it has 4-pane sash and case glazing. The building has skews, end stacks, and slate roofs. The rear elevation is also symmetrical, with the main roof sweeping over a central outshot and lower lean-tos on either side.
