Description
Cuiashader is a traditional sheiling located in Lewis, part of a large group of similar structures mostly dating from the 19th century. This Hebridean-type building is situated on a sloping site and constructed from rubble. It features an off-centre doorway on the left side of the front long wall, with its lintel positioned above the low eaves level. There is a thin, square-section wall-head stack on the front wall, and the building has a turf roof that is fenced at the wall-head.
