Description
Cuiashader is a traditional sheiling located in Lewis, part of a larger group of similar structures that mostly date from the 19th century. This Hebridean-type building is built into a sloping bank and constructed from rubble, with some rebuilding around the doorway, which is positioned off-centre to the right on the front long wall. There is a concrete wall-head stack nearby, and the sheiling features a turf roof.
