Description
Trumisgarry Manse, located in North Uist, is a former parliamentary manse designed by Thomas Telford and built around 1828. It is one of two standard designs and features two storeys with three bays. The building has a recessed porch on each gable, and the roof has been altered to slope down to a single storey at the rear. The exterior is pebble-dashed, while the south front has modern two-pane glazing and end stacks. The roof is covered with plastic tiles that mimic slate.
The garden is enclosed by walls made of rubble, and there are square gatepiers topped with pyramidal caps.
