Description
Newton House Hotel is an earlier 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The structure is made of whitewashed rubble. The northwest elevation has a piended central porch with 12-pane sash and case windows, and a door located in the re-entrant angle. The ground floor windows are plate glass sashes, while the first floor has lying-panes. There are two gabled dormers, straight skews, and end stacks. The roof is covered with plastic or asbestos tiles designed to imitate slate. To the right, there is a low wing, and the northeast wall of the rear wing is made of corrugated iron. The property also includes garden walls to the northeast.
