Description
Trumisgarry Church in North Uist is a former parliamentary church designed by Thomas Telford, completed in 1828. It is now a roofless but nearly complete shell. The church features a stock design with a T-plan, including two inner windows and outer doors on the long east wall, which has depressed arched openings and windows with simple iron tracery. The structure is built of rubble with ashlar dressings and is enclosed by rubble-built walls, which include square gatepiers topped with pyramidal caps.
