Description
17 Lugton Brae is a single-storey, three-bay cottage designed by G L Cadell between 1951 and 1952. The cottage features a painted harl exterior with concrete dressings and crowstepped gables, along with an eaves course.
On the north elevation facing Lugton Brae, there is a central door with a letter-box fanlight, flanked by windows in the outer bays. To the right, there is a rubble boundary wall belonging to 19 Lugton Brae, known as the Old Parsonage.
The east elevation has a bipartite window on the left and a single window on the right. The west elevation includes two windows. The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern, and there are harled gablehead stacks on both the east and west sides. The roof is covered with grey slates.
