Craigievar, 4 Bridge End, Dalkeith

Craigievar is a later 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house located in an irregular terrace. The building is constructed of random rubble, with the rear elevation harled and painted, featuring raised cills.

On the south elevation facing the North Esk, there is a modern piend-roofed glazed porch at the center. The windows are regularly arranged, with original-sized windows on the first floor and taller ones on the ground floor.

The west elevation is attached to No 6 Bridgend, while the east elevation shares a gable with No 2 Bridgend. The windows have a 4-pane glazing pattern and are replacement top-hopper windows that resemble sash and case style. The roof has a skew on the south pitch towards the west, and there is a brick stack on the west side, along with a rubble and brick mutual stack on the east. The roof is covered with grey slates.
