Description
Elrose is a single-storey, three-bay symmetrical cottage built in the later 19th century. The cottage has a harled exterior and features concrete cills.
On the east elevation, the central bay contains a boarded door with a letterbox fanlight above it, also boarded. There is a window in each of the flanking bays. The south elevation has a window set to the outer right of the gabled elevation, with a gablehead stack positioned above.
The cottage has four-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with Welsh purple slate and has a stone ridge, with two evenly spaced rooflights on the east pitch. The skews are made of concrete, and there are harled corniced gablehead stacks on both the north and south sides.
The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1997. The boundary walls consist of low harled rubble with a concrete coping and feature centered, harled square-plan piers.
