Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, improved cottage. Harled whinstone and slate rubble.

NE (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: boarded timber door to centre, window with projecting stone cill to right, smaller window within recessed bay to left.

SW (REAR) ELEVATION: 2 small windows with projecting stone cills.

SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: harled gable end.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: outshot chimney to centre capped below apex of gable, flat-roofed coal store to left.

Timber plate glass fixed pane and hopper windows, modern replacement slates. Large modern rooflights to rear.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.

GARDEN WALL: slate rubble walling with rounded corners.
