Description

Easdale Island 18 is a single-storey, rectangular-plan terrace of three improved cottages, built in the earlier 19th century. The structure is made from harled whinstone and slate rubble, featuring regular fenestration. The roof is covered with grey slates and lead flashing, and it has regular coped stacks with clay cans.

For No. 32, the northeast (principal) elevation has a 3-bay layout with a boarded timber door at the centre. The southwest (rear) elevation displays irregular fenestration, while the southeast (side) elevation features a harled gable end and 4-pane timber sash and case windows, along with a stone skew on the southeast gable. The interior was not seen in 2001.

No. 18 also has a northeast (principal) elevation with a 3-bay layout and a boarded timber door at the centre. The southwest (rear) elevation includes an advanced, gabled modern addition to the right and 4-pane timber sash and case windows. The interior was not seen in 2001.

No. 19 features a northeast (principal) elevation with a 3-bay layout and a boarded timber door at the centre, along with a slate rubble lean-to coal store to the left. The southwest (rear) elevation has a large 5-bay modern gabled addition to the left, with 4 windows on the left return. The northwest (side) elevation presents a harled gable end. The interior was not seen in 2001.
