Description
13 Easdale Island, Seil is an earlier 19th-century single-storey cottage with a rectangular plan, originally consisting of three bays but later extended to four. The exterior is finished in harled whinstone and slate rubble, featuring irregular window placements.
On the northwest (principal) elevation, there is a boarded timber door located to the centre left of the original cottage, flanked by small windows, with a larger window in the outer right bay that is a later addition. The southeast (rear) elevation displays small irregular windows and a door on the far left. Both the northeast and southwest side elevations are finished with harled gable ends.
The cottage has modern timber plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof with lead flashing, and coped stacks. The interior was not seen in 2001.
