Description
47 Easdale Island is an earlier 19th century, single-storey, three-bay cottage with a rectangular plan. The building is constructed of harled whinstone and slate rubble, featuring regular window arrangements.
On the east elevation, there is a modern gabled porch and door at the center, with a large window in the left bay and a small window in the right bay. The west elevation has a large modern gabled addition on the left side. The north elevation displays a harled gable end with a window to the left. The south elevation was not visible in 2001.
The cottage has modern timber frame windows with plate glass sash and case designs. The interior was not seen in 2001.
