50 Easdale Island, Seil

51 Easdale Island is a terrace of cottages built in the earlier 19th century. The terrace consists of ten single-storey cottages with a rectangular plan, featuring three bays and one four-bay cottage. The cottages face east and are constructed from harled whinstone and slate rubble, with a regular arrangement of windows. The rear elevations are obscured due to the terrace being cut into a bank, and the terrace ends with harled gable ends.

Each cottage has boarded timber doors in the center, flanked by small four-pane timber sash and case windows. There is an additional bay at No 54 on the outer right, which is currently semi-derelict. The roofs are covered with grey slates, although No 53 has replacement slates. The cottages feature iron and lead flashing, coped gable stacks, and a skew on the north gable of No 53. The interiors were not seen in 2001.
