11 Ashton Road, Gourock

11 Ashton Road in Gourock is a classical villa built in the earlier to mid 19th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure that is part of a symmetrical group of three buildings. The villa features squared sandstone that has been painted on the front, with ashlar quoin strips, an eaves band, a cornice, and a blocking course. The windows are architraved.

On the north (front) elevation, there is a pilastered and corniced doorway at the center, which has a deep-set door with a letterbox fanlight above it. There is a window above the door and additional windows in each flanking bay on both floors.

The east and west elevations showcase a gablehead that rises above the lower, recessed flanking houses, complete with broad stacks and a full complement of cans. The glazing has a modern sash and case effect, and the roof is covered with grey slates.
