Description
Circa 1910. 2-storey asymmetrical subdivided Arts and Crafts villa. White harl with red sandstone dressings. Bull-faced rubble base course to front; ashlar mullions and transoms; overhanging eaves with exposed rafters.
N (FRONT) ELEVATION: 3-bay; broad advanced bay to outer left with 2-storey quadripartite canted windows and piended roof. Centre bay with tripartite window at ground floor, bipartite at 1st floor breaking eaves in half-timbered gablehead with plain bargeboard. Bay to outer right recessed, ashlar doorpiece, roll-moulded shouldered-arched
doorway with blind transom lights and keystoned cornice, boarded door with prominent hinges; small window at 1st floor above.
E ELEVATION: projecting inglenook fireplace to outer right with tall wallhead stack linked to roof and small stained glass windows with cill band courses on flanks. Bipartite windows to left bay.
W ELEVATION: narrow bipartite stained glass vestibule window to left; 2 wallhead stacks, 1 to centre shouldered and linked to roof.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: harled forestair to outer left giving access to 1st floor doorway.
Timber sash and case windows, small-pane upper sashes, plate glass lower sashes at 1st floor, replacement windows to ground floor. Green slate roof with red ridge tiles and finials; 3 wallhead stacks (see above).
INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
Rubble boundary wall with semicircular coping.
