Park Lodge, 362 Albert Drive, Pollokshields, Glasgow

Park Lodge, located at 362 Albert Drive in Pollokshields, Glasgow, was built around 1880. This villa features a style reminiscent of Alexander Thomson, with Egypto-Greek detailing on the ramped doorcase and a full-height projecting square bay on the left. The exterior is made of stone-cleaned snecked rubble with ashlar dressings and pilastered mullions. The glazing appears to be early 20th century, with 4-pane upper lights that include colored glass. The building has deep bracketed eaves, chimney stacks, and a slate roof. A modern conservatory is present on the left flank, and a rear wing has been demolished. The interior is noted to be in good condition.

The boundary wall with 360 Albert Drive features cast-iron railings designed by Alexander Thomson. The gatepiers are battered and square, painted, and set below pedimented caps, which are a variant of the pattern used on neighboring houses.
