Description

Style of W F MacGibbon; built circa 1880. Large 2-

storey villa with mullioned and transomed windows; plate

glass glazing; stugged ashlar, polished dressings;

steep-pitched broad-eaved slate roofs. 2-bay front,

over full-height canted window. Porch recessed at left.

Dormers; corniced tall stacks; red ridging tiles. Rear

wing recessed right has billiards room with rooflight.

Boundary wall stepped to street, painted ashlar

gatepiers, margined and with caps.
