48A Dalziel Drive, 48, Glasgow

48A Dalziel Drive is a two-storey, three-bay villa designed by W F MacGibbon in 1892, featuring an L-shaped front. The porch is located in the re-entrant angle and is topped with an octagonal turret that has a fish-scale slated domed roof. The left bay includes a full-height canted window that is also individually roofed. The exterior is finished in stugged and snecked ashlar with polished dressings, and it has broad-eaved, piended slate roofs accented with red ridging tiles. There are end stacks, a moulded doorway, and a strap-worked pediment above the entrance. Most of the windows are mullioned and transomed, fitted with plate glass glazing.
