Description
This building is a later 19th century villa located at 23 Maxwell Drive in Glasgow. It is a two-storey structure featuring three steep-gabled bays, with the left bay having a jerkin roof and the others topped with metal finials. The design is nearly symmetrical and constructed from snecked stugged and squared rubble, with ashlar dressings that have been painted. The windows are plate glass sashes, and the central door is adorned with an arched hood. There are projecting ground floor windows on either side with iron crests and arched lights on the first floor. The villa has end stacks and deep-eaved slate roofs.
In front, there is a low boundary wall along the street, with square gatepiers, while the driveway piers on the left appear to be modern additions.
