330 And 330A Albert Drive, Pollokshields, Glasgow

This building, located at 330 and 330A Albert Drive in Pollokshields, Glasgow, was constructed around 1880. It is a large, asymmetrical, two-storey villa with three bays and an L-shaped front that features a prominent three-storey square entrance tower at the re-entrant angle. The exterior is finished in stone-cleaned yellow ashlar, topped with broad-eaved slate roofs. The entrance tower showcases a Renaissance doorcase, while the windows are mullioned, with a canted ground floor window on the right gable. The villa retains its original plate glass glazing, primarily in sash style. The south front is also treated with architectural detail. Additionally, there are corniced gatepiers that are polygonal in shape.
