338 Albert Drive is a Thomsonesque villa designed by Thomson and Turnbull in 1877. The building features a composition that includes a porch recessed on the right flank, a two-storey gable adjoining it, and a lofty, close-spaced three-storey gable on the left. The exterior is constructed from snecked ashlar and has unmargined single, mullioned, and grouped windows with plate glass sashes. It also boasts deep eaves and barge-boards on the shallow-pitch gables, along with slated roofs and corniced stacks. At the back of the porch, there is a low range that was built as a conservatory. The property is enclosed by a low boundary wall with square painted ashlar gatepiers.
