25, 25A Maxwell Drive, Glasgow

This is a later 19th century symmetrical two-storey, three-bay villa. It features full-height canted windows with Corinthian columns at the jambs and mullions on each floor. The central doorcase has Ionic columns and a round-arched doorway with two inner doors, and there are Corinthian pilasters supporting the window above. All window lights are basket-arched with plate glass sashes. The exterior is made of polished ashlar, which is now painted, and includes an eaves band, bracketed eaves, and end stacks, topped with a slated roof. There is a recessed low wing on the left side of the building. Additionally, there is a stepped low boundary wall along the street with square gatepiers.
