Description
The Cottage, located at West Green in Culross, is an 18th-century single-storey cottage with a nearly square plan and two bays. It features stugged sandstone with ashlar surrounds for the windows and doors.
On the east elevation, there is a central door with a window to the right that was formerly a door. A tall rubble wall from the adjacent Weaver's Cottage extends from the right side. The south elevation has two windows, and the west elevation also has two windows. The north elevation is attached to Weaver's Cottage.
The cottage has replacement four-pane timber windows, with top-hung upper panes and fixed lower panes, along with a replacement glazed door. It has a shallow pyramidal roof covered with clay pantiles, a wallhead stack on the west side with a polygonal chimney, and a cast-iron hopper on the northeast side.
Inside, the cottage has been modernised.
Additionally, there are small enclosed garden walls to the south of Honeysuckle Cottage and the road, constructed from rubble and stugged sandstone. The wall is lower to the north and features a central opening in the north wall.
