Description

18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house. Exposed tooled stone. Ashlar surrounds to windows and door; vertical margins and eaves course. Cavetto eaves cornice.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical elevation; central door; flanking single windows. 3 1st floor windows at eaves centred above. Central window blocked.

N ELEVATION: adjoining House, G Mackenzie.

E ELEVATION: central ground and 1st floor window. Ground floor window to right.

S ELEVATION: 2 ground floor windows; 1st floor window to right.

Replacement 8-pane timber sash and case windows with horns. Replacement glazed and timber door. Pitched roof; interlocking tiles. Coped gable apex stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen, 2001. Ground floor below exterior ground floor level.
