Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay classical house. Coursed

and squared rubble; ashlar dressings, base course and angle

pilasters. Harled E elevation. Ionic doorpiece, arched

doorway, panelled door and decorative fanlight. Flight of

steps and cast-iron railings; 12-pane glazing pattern, E and

W with some blind sash windows. Tall central stair window to

rear. End stacks, piended slate roof.

INTERIOR: full window shutters, panelled doors and decorative plasterwork.

STABLE WITH LOFT AND OUTBUILDINGS TO S: Rubble with ashlar

dressings, slate roofs.

WALLED GARDEN TO S OF THESE: rubble wall continuous with

boundary wall, adjoining E gable of house. Curved entrance

gateway.
