Description
Station Lodge at Dunbar Station, built around 1845, is a single-storey lodge designed in the Tudor style with a T-shaped plan. The building is constructed from red sandstone rubble that is squared and coursed, featuring grey ashlar dressings that are droved around the openings. It has a slate roof and brick stacks. The door has chamfered arrises, and there are casement windows, with three lights in the north and south gabled bays. At the rear, there is an adjoining coal-house that has a continuous swept roof.
