Description
This early 19th century single-storey, three-bay cottage is part of a terrace on Main Street in Kirkcolm. It features a painted render exterior with painted margins and architraved detailing around the doorway, which is centrally located and has four panels with bolection moulding. There are windows in the outer bays, and the external finish extends onto the neighbouring building to the right.
To the south, the cottage is adjoined to a taller building, No 5 Main Street, and to the north, it is connected to another higher building, No 9 Main Street. The cottage has sash and case windows with four-pane glazing and a mutual gablehead stack on the north side. The roof is covered with small slates.
