Description
15 Main Street in Kirkcolm is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house that is part of a terrace. The building is constructed of painted rubble with painted raised margins.
On the west elevation facing Main Street, there is a door located at the center, with a regular arrangement of windows on both the ground and first floors. The south elevation is blank above the adjoining lower building at No 13 Main Street, while the north elevation is blank above the adjoining lower building at No 17 Main Street.
The house features modern uPVC tilt and turn windows, concrete coped skews, and gablehead stacks on both the north and south sides. The roof is covered with small purple slates and includes octagonal cans, a stone ridge, and Velux rooflights.
