Description
86 South Drumlanrig Street is a late 18th century single-storey, three-bay cottage located at the end of a long row, built on a slope with an adjoining outbuilding below. The cottage features stugged ashlar with polished margins and a stone slab central porch with a modern door. It has four-pane sash windows, an eaves course, and straight skews. The cottage is topped with a roof made of graded slates and has corniced end stacks. There are iron railings to the south, positioned above the steeply sloping ground, and a door in the south gable at basement level. The outbuilding is constructed of rubble and has been raised, featuring a corrugated roof and a west-facing door.
