Description

Early 19th century. Hotel, front block 2 storeys, 3 bays,

long ranges to rear (facing Castlehill Gate) stepped in

height.

FRONT BLOCK white-harled with black-painted margins; big

plastered central doorcase, single windows (sashes with

4-pane glazing pattern), doorway (1 blocked) near each outer

angle. Single end stack survives; slate roofs.

REAR RANGES include single storey and loft inner range with

pair loft doorways rising above eaves and with gabled heads;

low single storey ranges beyond.
